Usually, these are problem free but, sometimes, a battery can get stuck in its housing. Grrr. It's possible to use a paperclip to poke it out from inside the guitar but this is massively fiddly. There's usually a small hole that'll accept an unbent paperclip so give it a go.

Problem with a Fishman Blender...

 · Taylor completely gutted and replaced my expression system with anti feedback on my 814CE free at an in store clinic and sounds fantastic. The old contacts dry out and even said my factory original install was not put in right and the guitar sounded awful amplified before the change. Send your axe to Taylor and they'll fix it. · 3. Keep one very important thing in mind - The T5/T5z is not a traditional acoustic guitar with a pickup. It is a thinbody, hollowbody electric guitar with a soundboard transducer and magnetic pickup available to emulate an acoustic. It will never sound like your 314ce, nor was it designed to replace your 314ce. · In addition, you could send the guitar to Taylor and they can swap out the Fishman for one of their newer ES pickup systems. I personally am not a fan of the ES, but some people like it. The ES upgrade is $500 I think and has to be done by Taylor.
